The BFAR-National Capital Region, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Navotas City, has distributed PHP 603,000.00 worth of fuel subsidy to 201 registered motorized boat owners in Navotas City. The event took place at the Pangisdaan Hall, Navotas City Hall, M. Naval St., Navotas City, with assistance from the City Agriculture Office headed by Ms. Cheney Ville L. Gabriel.
The activity was conducted under the Fuel Discount for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program to aid the region’s fisherfolk amid the constant price increase of oil and oil products. The beneficiaries were provided with a fuel discount card containing Php 3,000.00 each. #
