The Department of Agriculture โ Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) invites stakeholders to participate in the Public Consultation on the proposed Joint Memorandum Circular titled, “Guidelines on the Registration and Licensing of Fishing Boats, Fishing Gears, and Fisherfolk and Basic Hygiene and Sanitation Requirements.”
The consultation will be held on August 5โ6, 2026, in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, and aims to present the proposed guidelines while gathering comments, recommendations, and inputs from stakeholders to further enhance its provisions prior to the issuance of the final Joint Memorandum Circular.
Interested stakeholdersโincluding fishing boat operators, fishing boat owners, and representatives of fisherfolkโare encouraged to register through the online registration form:
